FFF USA is proud to be a core organizing group of the #EndTheEra of Fossil Fuels escalation arc demanding climate justice this June through September.
Thousands of groups across the U.S. are calling on President Biden to be the climate leader that he claims to be abroad at home — demanding that he End The Era of Fossil Fuels.
June 8 – 11, 2023 is a week of distributed actions across the United States. 1,200+ groups are lifting up their local fights against oil and gas developments, to make it clear that siding with Big Oil is a political liability. The demonstrations will take place in over 65 locations across the US from June 8–11th, and are endorsed by 64 Indigenous, climate, labor, and environmental justice organizations, including Sunrise, 350.org, and Indigenous Environmental Network.
September 15 & 17, 2023: The Fridays for Future Global Climate Strike and the March To End Fossil Fuels in New York. These National Days of Action signals the need for change in the Biden administration’s continued approval of new fossil fuel projects. Organizers are mobilizing to hold Biden to his promises ahead of the UN Climate Ambition Summit in New York this September.
April 2024 will see another collective call to End the Era of Fossil Fuels. From the Global Climate Strike on the 19th to the INC4 Mobilization on the 21st and Earth Day on the 22nd, we will rise up against the fossil fuel industry in all its forms.
OUR TARGET? President Biden. We call on Biden to use his power and legal authority to stop approving new fossil fuel projects. We, the people who got him elected, demand better.
