National Support Positions

FFF USA is a network of organizers in local groups across the country. As we grow, we’re looking to build a team to support the local groups in specific areas. Each working group has three positions:

  • Coordinator: responsible for project managing your working group to ensure projects are moving and the working group is fulfilling its purpose
  • Integrator: responsible for welcoming new members into your working group and setting up systems for members to engage with the work
  • Carer: responsible for the overall wellbeing of your working group and implementing conflict transformation processes

These are not paid positions. We’re a grassroots movement of dedicated individuals.

Each of these remote positions will coordinate the corresponding national working group. FFF USA is a place of learning and collaboration, so these national positions are not intended to do all of the work for their working group, but rather enable and encourage participation in their working group, keep an overview of projects and tasks, and create resources within their working group that local groups can use.

We realize it takes time to understand the role, figure out how a group operates, get to know folks, and see if it’s everything you thought it would be. So all positions start off with a trial period.

CoordinatorS

Please only apply if you can commit at least 5-10 hours per week.

Integrators

As one of the National Working Group Integrators, you will be in charge of helping create the systems to onboard new members into the Fridays for Future network and be a welcoming figure on the team. You will integrate new FFF USA members into your working group and get them settled and comfortable.

Integrator is not necessarily a time-intensive position (depending on how much you do with it!) and being involved in the working group’s work will also help with integrating others into it. So you are encouraged to apply for the role within the working group whose work you’re most intersted in, and you are very welcome to then also take on content-related tasks.

CARERS

As one of the National Working Group Carers, you will be tasked with making sure members of your team (and any member of FFF USA who works on projects with your team) are doing well as people. You support them, check in on members to see how they are doing, and see if they need resources to be successful in their work.

Carer is not necessarily a time-intensive position (depending on how much you do with it!) and being involved in the working group’s work will also help with knowing how others in your group are doing. So you are encouraged to apply for the role within the working group whose work you’re most intersted in, and you are very welcome to then also take on content-related tasks.
